Some friends who were going to Nepal two years later wanted some "advice" and this was the result. It is not intended to be a river guide, as Peter Knowles' guidebook gives far more information than we could include here, but instead concentrates more on the non-paddling aspects of a "boating trip" to Nepal; the wheezes, the ruses, the blags and the "common" which may be of use to a paddler arriving in Nepal for the first time with a kayak on his shoulder.
