You can buy almost
everything you will need in Kathmandu, however some
things are worth taking:
Padlock for
your hotel-room door
Torch for when
the power fails in Kathmandu every evening
Swiss army
knife
Mosquito coils
Thermarest AND
THERMAREST CHAIR KIT (be the envy of everyone
else on the bus roof).
Boat tape
& Araldite
The outdoor-gear shops are pretty
good, although most of the fake stuff they sell is
not.
